Yesterday was Ash Wednesday the beginning of the season of Lent. We went to church and Sister Mary used ashes to make a cross on our forehead. We have been learning that Lent is the time to live more like Jesus lived. Lent lasts for 40 days and it leads up to Easter. Mrs Schroder has given up chocolate for Lent and Room 2 have a path of footsteps that they are going to try to follow during this time. This may include giving up things like tv for a night or being extra good or saying some special prayers.
